PL 2013 - Week 2

Used some older kits for this week and only had two empty spots to fill since I took so many pictures! Does anyone want to give me some feedback? Do you think I should keep the page protector look or just use Becky Higgins' template for the pictures? Not sure if I like the stitching between the pictures...makes it look a little too busy and not clean enough maybe? I don't know but I would appreciate any thoughts!

Do you scrap with templates??? Well, I love templates when scrapping because it makes it so fast and easy to put all my papers and pictures in predetermined spaces. I love embellishing and rotating things in a template but for this time crunched mama, it's the way to go!

PL 2013 : Week 1

I have finished my first week of Project Life. I'm doing one page a day unless there is more going on that week and my weeks will run Monday - Sunday. Here is January 1-6. As always check out my PL page at the top for all of my pages. Click for credits.

Project Life 2013

I'm participating in Project Life this year!!! I figure it will be easier than making layouts for ALL of the pictures that we will be taking of Kalli. :D I still plan on doing layouts of our favorite pictures but I like the style of more of a photo album where all the pictures are just in "page protectors". I use quotes because I'm doing PL all digital. I'm not going to write a whole lot about each week and I'm not promising that the weeks will all get done on time. I'm doing Monday-Sunday and will just do one or two pages as it seems appropriate. I'll still post them all here but if you want to look at the whole album as one, I'm going to post them to my PL 2013 page too. (it's up there at the top as a page now) So here's my intro layout and hello 2013!!!

Christmas Eve & a Freebie

This year for Christmas Eve, I knew that I wanted to spend it at my mom and dad's house. I wanted to go to Christmas Mass and get a dress for Kalli to wear. It's also my baby brother's birthday on the 24th so we always have supper and some sort of birthday desert.
Well, church went really well and Kalli slept through the whole mass but she didn't get to wear her cute Christmas dress. She was sleeping before we left and I just couldn't wake her up just to change her clothes. So here's a layout I made of Chad, Kalli and me in front of the Christmas tree after church. Her outfit was still pretty cute though!
